Situated on the beach front, this home had two main criteria that had to be met.
The first was that there had to be unobstructed views of the ocean. This was achieved by designing the home so that bedrooms and living areas were located on the side facing the ocean.
The second criteria to be met was the home had to allow sea breezes to flow throughout the home. By installing a generous quantity of over-sized louvre windows and constructing a high pitched decorative ceiling in the living area, natural sea breezes were unhindered and negated the need for constant air conditioning.
